‘A platform for Rajasthan & Rajasthanis’

Jaipur: In another milestone, First India News launched its own OTT platform - First India+ Entertainment on Saturday at the RIC Auditorium, Jaipur. The Rajasthan-centric OTT platform had renowned Bollywood Playback Singer ‘Alka Yagnik’ as the chief Guest besides the esteemed leaders from First India News: CMD and Editor-in-Chief Dr Jagdeesh Chandra, Director Virendra Choudhary, and CEO and Managing Editor Pawan Arora.

Welcoming Alka Yagnik and unveiling the initiative managing editor Pawan Arora said, “Diya Kumari, deputy Chief minister was to come and grace the occasion but due to the BJP core committee meeting in Delhi she could not make it. The Chief Minister too congratulated us on the initiative and sent his best wishes.”

Addressing the gathering with eminent personalities from various spheres he said, “Our OTT platform stands apart from others, with a dedicated focus on Rajasthan with Alka Yagnik as the Brand Ambassador. We aim to showcase the rich cultural tapestry of the region, including music, dance, heritage, and tourism. This marks the beginning of our commitment to providing a platform specifically for Rajasthan and Rajasthanis’ across the world.”

“In our times we didn’t have such opportunities. The people of Rajasthan are very lucky to have a platform like this. This will go a long way in nurturing talent in the youth.” said Alka Yagnik.

The launch of First India+ Entertainment promises an array of exciting events, including the unveiling of a Rajasthanbased “Singing Talent Hunt” reality show that would give a platform to the budding talent in the state. The launch also saw the celebration of 15 glorious years of the team’s musical extravaganza ‘Bhule Bisre Geet’ with the captivating show anchor Rainu Singh, and a mesmerizing journey through “The Golden Era” of Hindi cinema with the spectacular ‘BLACK AND WHITE SHOW’, bringing the magic of music alive on stage. “The OTT platform would be available on android and ios March 10 onwards,” said Pawan Arora.
