6 rescued from Palighat after stranded people call FI staff

Jaipur: First India News coordinated the rescue of 6 forest workers trapped in Chambal flood waters at Palighat Gharial Sanctuary office in Sawai Madhopur and guest house on Wednesday. The staff called this correspondent on the phone. The news was broadcast on First India News and the forest department officials were informed. After which a team of SDRF rescued them.

Two forest guards Sunil Choudhary and Bhupendra Singh along with four border home guards were stuck in the sudden flood waters that blocked all the roads. The situation was getting worse as the power supply was cut. After this, Ranthambore field director Seduram Yadav reached the spot, spoke to the Collector and along with the team of SDRF, DCF Anil Yadav, Range Officer Tulsiram and others reached the spot with a boat.
