3 Raj Judges to be appointed as Chief Justices in High Courts

Jaipur: The Supreme Court Collegium issued separate orders on Thursday and recommended three judges, including Rajasthan High Court’s Acting Chief Justice MM Shrivastava, to be made Chief Justice of the High Courts.

According to the collegium, Justice Arun Bhansali of Raj HC has been recommended as CJ of Allahabad HC and Justice Vijay Bishnoi as C J of Guwahati HC.

Also, a recommendation has been made to the GoI to make Acting CJ MM Srivastava the Chief Justice of Rajasthan HC. This recommendation has been made by Supreme Court CJ DY Chandrachud, Justice Sanjeev Khanna, and Justice BR Gavai. Justice Arun Bhansali and Justice Vijay Bishnoi were appointed judges of Rajasthan HC in Jan 2013. Justice MM Shrivastava is the acting CJ of Rajasthan for the third time.
