“2.79 L more voters added in voters’ list”

Jaipur: In Rajasthan, 15,54,604 new voters aged 18-19 years have been added to the electoral rolls since the State Assembly General Elections held on November 25 last year.

They will exercise their franchise for the first time in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. This data emerged from the final publication of the integrated voter lists of 199 assembly constituencies of the state. Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta said that the Election Department published the final electoral rolls on Thursday in all the districts of the state.

The published voter lists of 199 assembly constituencies are available on the department website ceorajasthan.nic.in. The final publication of voter lists of the Karanpur assembly constituency will be on 13 February

As per the final electoral rolls published on February 8, the gender ratio in the voter lists of the state has become 923 as compared to 920. Presently, the percentage of voters in the age group of 18-19 years among the total registered voters is 2.94.

According to the CEO, after the 2023 Assembly polls, there has been a net increase of 2,79,366 voters in the electoral lists.
