15 % hike in honorarium of women belonging to RAJEEVIKA cadre: CM

Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot while addressing the ‘Sakhi Sammelan’ organised by Rajeevika at JECC, Jaipur, said that social and economic empowerment of women is taking place through programs like Rajeevika. “Today, that effort is in front of everyone in a big way in this historic program. Working in the spirit of co-operation, women associated with Rajeevika groups are playing an important role in the development of the state today.” Thousands of women associated with Rajeevika self-help groups from across the state participated in the event. “State govt is providing a loan of Rs 4,774 crore to these groups. This is an important effort of State government towards making women self-reliant,” he said.
