Akshita Thakur from Kota represents USA in UNO

Kota: Akshita Thakur, who hails from Kota, has represented America in the United Nations conference. Akshita presented her stand on the topic of climate change in the international United Nations conference held in Prague. The conference was held from 17-21 January. Indian-origin student Akshita Thakur got the opportunity to join and participate in an educational trip to Berlin. 16 students were selected from America, which included Akshita.

More than 400 studentdelegates from across the world from classes 9 to 12 participated in the conference. Out of 400, the best 22 representatives got a chance to present their proposals.

Akshita presented her proposal in the General Assembly of the United Nations, which was passed with an overwhelming majority.
