Water woes of the region to end soon: Shekhawat

Balesar (Jodhpur): Union Jal Shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union MoS for agriculture Kailash Choudhary and member of erstwhile Jodhpur royal family Gaj Singh laid the foundation stone of Gotavarrai dam and inaugurated anicuts in Chhetar ki pahadi area of Jodhpur district on Sunday.

Shekhawat said that the project would provide a permanent solution to the drinking water problem in the area. Gaj Singh said that a bigger lake would be formed in the Indavati area as compared to Kaylana lake of Jodhpur.

Kailash Chaudhary highlighted the achievements and welfare schemes and programes of the Modi government.
