Water hole census of wildlife on May 23, 24

Jaipur: A wildlife population census will be done on Vaishakh Purnima through the water hole method on May 23 and 24. Counting will start at 8 am on May 23 and will continue till 8 am on May 24. Order will be issued at the level of Chief Wildlife Warden PK Upadhyay. The number of tigers and other wild animals will be assessed.

Last year, due to unseasonal rain, the wildlife census could not be done through the water hole method. So, this time the census of wildlife is important. The actual figures of the number of wildlife will be available only through wildlife census using the method. A training program will start after the order for wildlife census is issued.
