UTTAR PRADESH GOVT TRANSFERS 22 IPS OFFICERS INCLUDING 11 DISTRICT SPS

Lucknow: In a major reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 22 IPS officers including the 11 district SPs. The impact of BJP’s defeat in the Khatauli assembly constituency of Muzaffarnagar district and Lok Sabha bypolls in Mainpuri was also visible in the transfers. SPs of both the districts were removed and put on the waiting list.

The SPs of Etawah and Kanpur rural have also been removed and put on waiting list.
Apart from this, changes have been made in the work area of DCP level officers posted in Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Prayagraj, Agra Commissionerates. This time, 2017- batch IPS officers have also been given postings in districts. The officers include Prachi Singh, daughter of PCS officer Ram Singh Gautam who is ADM FR Pilibhit. Muzaffarnagar SP Vinit Kumar Jaiswal, Mainpuri SP Kamlesh Kumar Dixit, Etawah Senior Superintendent of Police Jai Prakash Singh and Kanpur Rural SP Suniti have been removed and put on waiting list.

Abhishek Verma has been transferred from Gautam Buddha Nagar to Hapur. He has also been the ADC of Governor Anandi Ben Patel. His father is also an IPS officer. IPS Sanjay Kumar has been made the new Superintendent of Police of Etawah. Satyajit Kumar Gupta posted as DCP in Agra Commissionerate has been made SP Sant Kabir Nagar, Prachi Singh has been made SP Shravasti.

Hemant Kutiyal was transferred from police headquarters to UP Special Range Security Battalion as SP, Arvind Kumar Maurya from Shravasti to Traffic Directorate Lucknow, Anirudh Kumar from Fatehpur to Meerut Rural and Jalaun SP Ravi Kumar was transferred to Ghaziabad Commissionerate as DCP.
