Sujoy Ghosh directorial with Kareena Kapoor Khan to go on floors next week

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Kareena Kapoor Khan is an icon that has always increased the value of her projects with her mere presence. The actress had recently made an announcement in March of her OTT debut with Sujoy Ghosh’s next, with Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Verma. Now, a recent development has been announced by the makers. The movie schedule will begin by next week in Darjeeling with a schedule allotted in Mumbai by May end.

Mid-day quoted a source saying, “It’s a two-week schedule in the hill station that will see Kareena, Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma film key scenes. Meanwhile, a part of the production design team will erect a set in Mehboob studio. The Mumbai leg will kick off by May-end, with Sujoy hoping to shoot a chunk of the film before the rains hit the city.”

The untitled movie is an adaptation of the Japanese novel ‘The Devotion Of Suspect X’ by Keigo Higashino. This piece of news has certainly created a lot of buzz around the project as Sujoy Ghosh is helmed as one of the most versatile directors in the industry and the cast consists of a multitalented ensemble.

Currently, Kareena is awaiting the release of her next big film, Laal Singh Chadda with Aamir Khan. The film is slated to release on August 11, 2022.
