Celebrating 11 Years of Sachin-Jigar’s Iconic Album Of ‘Go Goa Gone’
India's very own zombie action-comedy movie, 'Go Goa Gone,' has held its status as a cult classic over the years. The film, directed by Raj and D.K., celebrates its eleventh anniversary today. Interestingly, the movie won the audience over not only with its hilarious and engaging storyline but also with its enthralling music. The hit music album, composed by the celebrated music duo Sachin-Jigar, featured songs such as ‘Babaji Ki Booti,’ ‘Slowly Slowly,’ ‘Khoon Choos Le,’
The music of the film had an instant connection with the youth, the album made it to the heart of the audience as well as the critics. Reminiscing the process of creating ‘Babaji Ki Booti’, Sachin-Jigar collectively said, “We were given three artists [Kunal Khemu, Vir Das & Anand Tiwari] and told to make this dope song, ‘Babaji ki Booti’ and we just went with the flow. From the initial cuff at the beginning of the song to the Madaki of ‘boooooti’ the song shifts its key in between and that's what makes it unique. We had so much fun, making the songs of the film, and it’s great to see how well-received it is to this date.”
