Many officers of 1989 batch and subsequent batches have been empanelled to the post of Secretaries in the Central Government.

The influential officers included in the list of potential officers going for central deputation are Additional Chief Secretary to CM SP Goyal, Additional Chief Secretary excise, sugar industry and cane development Sanjay Bhusreddy, Additional Chief Secretary Appointment and personnel Devesh Chaturvedi. Officers holding the post of joint secretaries and directors can also be relieved.

After the post of Chief Secretary, the officers posted in two key positions are also going to retire within a month. In these, the tenure of the present chairman of the Revenue Board, Mukul Singhal and Alok Sinha, posted as Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC), will end on April 30.
