Shinde will get party’s symbol, predicts Rane

Mumbai: The power struggle in Maharashtra continues after the rebellion of 40 MLAs, including senior Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde. The dispute has now gone to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court will hear the power struggle on 14 February. That’s why entire Maharashtra including Thackeray group and Shinde group have started paying attention to this hearing. On Saturday, BJP leader and Union Minister Narayan Rane made a symbolic statement and stressed that the Shiv Sena symbol will be handed to Shinde faction. Rane has predicted in whose favor the Supreme Court will decide. When asked about the hearing of the power struggle in the Supreme Court on February 14, Narayan Rane said, “Shall I resort to astrology? Because I never talk about court cases. But the symbol for which Uddhav Thackeray is fighting, that symbol will go to Eknath Shinde.” Meanwhile, Narayan Rane has responded to the criticism of the opposition on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Mumbai. “We have given development. Who has the right to name a child on birth? Isnt it the father? We have various schemes in Maharashtra. Two Vande Bharat Express were started yesterday. Prime Minister was called since he gives the money, what’s wrong with that? What did Shiv Sena do in two and a half years? They should list this. After leaving Matoshree, he (Uddhav) sat in the Ministry for two and a half hours in two and a half years. What kind of Chief Minister is this?” Rane said. Apart from this, commenting on the byelections of Kasba and Chinchwad assembly constituencies, Narayan Rane said, ‘We are going to win both Kasba and Chinchwad byelection seats with a big margin. BJP takes all elections from Gram Panchayat to Lok Sabha very seriously.”
