Jaipur: The employees of central departments recruited after January 1, 2004, have come on one platform for the purpose of restoring the Old Pension Scheme. Employees of central departments have formed a joint platform as per the decision taken at the Joint National Conference on January 21 in New Delhi.
In this, labour organizations and associations associated with railways, defence, postal, RMS, state employees, teachers, public undertakings, roadways, corporations, etc. have joined. A meeting of the representatives of central employees organizations was held on Wednesday at the North Western Railway Employees Union office at Jaipur Junction. It was decided in the meeting that soon a large-scale protest campaign would be launched for the purpose of restoration of the old pension scheme.
