Accused Gaurav Jain strangulated 14-year-old student to death in Kota

Kota: Private tuition teacher Gaurav Jain (28), who was on the run after allegedly murdering a 14-year-old student here, was arrested from Haryana’s Gurugram.

He was produced before a magistrate on Tuesday who remanded him for six days of police custody The accused was in love with the girl.

He proposed her but she rejected him, following which he hatched a conspiracy and killed the minor girl inside his house in Bajajkhana on February 13.

He had been absconding after the murder. Thirty-two police teams were formed to nab him and they finally succeeded late Monday night when Jain was arrested from outside his sister’s house in Gurugram, police said.
