Rajasthan Congress leaders’ ‘woes’ to end after Punjab’s!

New Delhi: With only 24 months left for the assembly elections in Rajasthan, Congress workers and leaders have started to become restless.

The reason: the massive delay in political appointments, which according to a few ‘circles’ in the grand-old party could prove to be distasteful for the party in the long run.

Under such trying situations and with each passing day bringing new hope and correspondingly thwarting it as well, questions are now being raised, if, at all, the political appointments will be done and if so, when will the ‘hopefuls’ fulfil their wish of getting placed in a suitable Board or Corporation!

Highly placed sources in Congress have claimed that this issue will be addressed right after party’s ‘Punjab conundrum’ is sorted as there has been a crossroads over ticket distribution in Punjab.

This is the reason that AICC General Secretary Ajay Maken’s complete focus is on solving Punjab situation, and as a result, the High Command has stayed the list of Rajasthan for the time being.

But as soon as the Punjab ticket distribution is completed, the list may be released in Rajasthan too
