Jaisalmer: Trainee pilot Cheshta Bishnoi from Khetolai village of Jaisalmer, tragically passed away after succumbing to injuries from a road accident in Pune on Dec 9. She had been receiving treatment for 9 days but ultimately lost her battle for life. Her untimely death has left village and surrounding areas in deep sorrow.

In a heartwarming turn of events, Cheshta’s family made noble decision to donate her organs, saving the lives of eight individuals. Her heart, liver, and other organs were transplanted at a Pune hospital. After organ donation, Cheshta’s body was honored with a final farewell. Her funeral took place on Wednesday evening in Khetolai village.
