Rahul harming his own party’s future prospects?

New Delhi: It is surprising that Rahul Gandhi has once again targeted regional parties. He has said that no regional party has a national vision, they can represent the vision of a community or a state, but not the country. Amongst the opposition, he called the Congress the sole representative of the national vision and idea. He had said this a few days back as well after which many regional parties had objected to it. But after Rahul made the same statement a second time, everyone is silent. It seems that he did not understand the need to take this matter seriously. In fact, with such talks, Rahul is losing the seriousness of his words on the ground of political ideology.

Does he have any idea what the states’ vision is and how it differs from the national vision? Is the national vision not made in conjunction with the vision of the states? Are the citizens of the states not the citizens of the nation? Does he have no idea as to what harm can be done to the Congress by getting into the debate of the nation? In fact every citizen is a citizen of India, every state is a part of the nation and every regional party represents a national vision. If Rahul Gandhi and Congress are calling tribals the owners of this country, then the entire politics of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is on this base. JMM also fights for the rights of tribal considering them as the owner of water, forest and land. Other regional parties fight the battle of backward and Dalits in a better way than Congress. Border states have to remain alert for the security of the state as well as national security. As far as fighting the BJP is concerned, most of the regional parties are putting up a better fight than the Congress, challenging the BJP and even defeating it.
