‘PEACEMAKER’ SHAH!

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday chaired a high-level meeting on J&K over security-related issues and said the terror ecosystem that aids terrorist-separatist campaign needs to be dismantled. Amit Shah also asked J&K administration officials to follow the policy of zero tolerance against terrorism, an MHA statement said.

Shah also directed the officials to strive their best to achieve 100% saturation of the beneficiaries under various schemes and ensure benefits of development reaches every section of society,” MHA statement said.

The meeting came on a day four terroristswere killed. Seven AK assault rifles, one M4 rifle, three pistols and a large quantity of ammunition were recovered from the slain terrorists. Security forces have been put on high alert across the Jammu region, particularly on the highway, after the incident. Shah also reviewed the developmental works being implemented in J&K.
