PARALYMPIANS SEEK MENTION ON PLAQUE

Jaipur: Paralympic players on Tuesday met Jaipur Municipal Corporation Greater Mayor Dr Somya. The mayor honored the players by giving mementos and bouquets.

Players Sundar Gurjar, Krishna Nagar, Shatabdi Awasthi and coach Mahavir Saini & father of Avani Lakhera met the Mayor at Corporation’s Headquarters.

On this occasion, the players proposed to the Mayor that the names of all Olympic players should be written on a plaque at a circle or a memorial in Jaipur so that people’s interest in sports could increase further.

The Mayor assured that a positive decision would be taken in this direction.
