Jaipur: Congress’ vote bank shifted in by-election due to sabotage and at the behest of Congress leaders. Large scale shifting happened in Khinwsar and Salumber seats.

Congress’ votes were divided towards BJP in Khinwsar and BAP in Salumber. Congress candidate got only 5454 votes in Khinwsar.

However, some votes of Congress also went towards the RLP candidate. Congress candidate was in third place with 26,000 votes in Salumber. Congress’ primary target in Khinwsar was to defeat RLP’s Hanuman Beniwal.
