Neetu Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni remember Rishi Kapoor on his second death anniversary

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Today marks the second death anniversary of veteran actor Rishi Kapoor who passed away due to leukaemia. He was not only an actor who set milestones for the next generations to achieve but also a great family man who loved to spend time with his loved ones. Naturally, his demise came as a huge loss for his family who always makes sure to remember the star on every occasion.

On his second death anniversary, his wife Neetu Kapoor, who currently is judging the dance reality show Dance Deewane, posted a snippet from the show where she teared up after the grandmother of a contestant recalled her old connection with Rishi Kapoor. As the grandmother sang a very emotional verse from the song ‘Lambi Judaai’, Neetu Kapoor visibly cried and later said how every person she meets reminds her of their connection with the late actor. “Every person has a story with him”, the veteran actress says. She captioned the post, “Today is two years since rishi ji left us … loosing a partner of 45 years was difficult n painful at that time the only way to heal my heart was to keep myself mentally occupied .. Movie n television helped me achieve that 🙏 rishiji will always be remembered n will stay in everyone’s heart forever ❤️”

 

 

The Kapoor daughter-in-law remembered her father-in-law with a black and white picture of her and her husband Ranbir Kapoor with his parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor. The old picture was clicked when the late actor was battling cancer and the Kapoor family strongly stayed by his side. She posted the picture on her Instagram story with the caption, “always..and forever❤️”

Rishi Kapoor’s eldest daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni posted an old picture of her as a kid hugging her dad with the caption, “Papa❤️”. Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan send some comforting words to her daughter’s sister-in-law as she commented, “biggest hug❤️” on the picture.
