Neetu Kapoor admits to being scared with zero confidence on the sets of JugJugg Jeeyo after Rishi Kapoor’s demise

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Neetu Kapoor is a stellar actress and her extensive film career is proof of that. She has shone in many films with Besharam (2013) being her last venture. Currently, the actress is filling in the seat of the judge in the dance reality show Dance Deewane Juniors. Neetu has revealed in the past that work and socializing were her only two ways of coping with the death of her late husband, Rishi Kapoor. Rishi Kapoor, who passed away in 2020 was battling leukaemia at the time of his demise.

Now, as the actress steps into films once again with JugJugg Jeeyo, she opened up about working in films after Rishi Kapoor’s death. In an interview with a news portal, the actress revealed that she would constantly be busy with taking care of her husband, be it his travelling or chores at home. Ranbir and Riddhima, Neetu’s children, helped her to get up and venture more into her career after Rishi Kapoor passed away.

 

 

It was then Karan Johar offered her a role in his movie JugJugg Jeeyo and she immediately took it up after she loved the script. But once she came on set, her confidence was zero. She further revealed that although she took up the challenge with confidence, she would often get scared on set and mess up her lines or scenes. She admitted to being unsure about everything.

But she also stated that shooting for JugJugg Jeeyo helped her come out of her depression and chiefly it was a cathartic experience for her.
