Muslim MLAs to avoid voting for Shiv Sena?

Mumbai: In Maharashtra, Shiv Sena is working hard to ensure the victory of its second candidate in the Rajya Sabha elections. On one hand there is action of central agencies, due to which the leaders of small parties are worried and on the other hand the Muslim MLAs of allies are worried. When Shiv Sena left NDA and formed Maha Vikas Aghadi, many parties like NCP, Congress, SP supported it. But this is compulsive support. Muslim leaders of these parties cannot support Shiv Sena from the heart because Shiv Sena leaders still openly claim that they demolished the Babri Masjid structure. Although for them, it seems that supporting Shiv Sena is a just move to prevent BJP from forming the government, but they are finding it difficult to vote for the Shiv Sena candidate.

It is reported that both the MLAs of the Samajwadi Party have opted to remain absent instead of voting for the Shiv Sena candidate. Keep in mind that there are two MLAs from SP i.e. Abu Azmi and Rais Sheikh. Their support is very important for Shiv Sena. The second concern of Shiv Sena is that if the Muslim MLAs of Congress and NCP also decide not to vote, taking inspiration from these two MLAs, then the party will face a major problem. Therefore the question is whether the NCP and Congress, while allotting votes to their MLAs, will allot the votes of Muslim MLAs to their candidate and the votes they leave for Shiv Sena will be of Hindu MLAs? There is also the question as to what will the two MLAs of Owaisi’s party do if needed, and if the political situation becomes non-condusive, will they support BJP?
