Leopard trapped in Gogunda, to be relocated to Sajjangarh
Udaipur: A four-year-old leopard has been successfully trapped in a cage in Bhutala, Gogunda, after the Forest Department received multiple complaints from local residents about its movements. The department had previously set a trap in Mindaavto Ki Bhagal where the leopard was frequently spotted.
Upon notification, forest officials promptly arrived to oversee the capture. The captured leopard was prepared for transport to the Sajjangarh Biological Park. This incident follows capture of 5 other leopards in region. Notably, a leopard in Lakhawali escaped from a cage, & in separate case, a leopard was shot in Madar, while another was killed by villagers in Kamol.
