Intel agencies see design behind riots, destruction

New Delhi: Central Intelligence agencies may take over the probe into ongoing incidents of violence in Bihar, fourth day in running, ostensibly over the Agnipath armed forces recruitment scheme even as the Union Govt has been sensitised about forces inimical to India being behind the out-of-control mayhem.

Central Revenue Intelligence Agencies are probing the genesis of the violence that erupted separately in UP and now in Bihar to unearth the real design behind the apparent mayhem that they believe was sought to be engineered all across India.

Confirming this a person in the know told First India, “Our interest was piqued beginning with the Kanpur riots where the role of Hayat Zafar Hashmi came to the fore. Around Rs 4 crore was found to have been channelised through three of his banking accounts and is suspected to have been channelised to engineer the riots and violence. After his arrest around Rs 60 odd lakh is still held in one of the accounts.”

Things are slowly unravelling and we are focussing on the masterminds behind the violence.
