IAF to demonstrate Rafale in ‘Vayu Shakti-2022’

Sangeeta Sharma Jodhpur: Vayu Shakti-2022 will be organized by the Indian Air Force at the Pokhran Field Firing Range from the second week of February.

The fire demonstration to be held at the conclusion of this important exercise of the Air Force will have a live demonstration of destroying imaginary enemy positions.

For the first time, ultra modern Rafale aircraft will also be involved in this exercise to be held every three years.

Apart from this, more than 150 fighter aircraft like Sukhai, Jaguar and helicopter pilots will demonstrate to deal with enemy threats.

With this, the pilots will show the power of the Air Force by hitting targets with missiles from the sky and bombing with fighter planes. In this, the offensive and defensive capabilities of the Indian Air Force will be assessed.

Pilots have started preparations for this fire power demonstration to be held after every three years of the Air Force, flying fighter planes from Jodhpur, Uttarlai Bikaner and Jaisalmer airbases.

From state-of-the-art communication equipment to fighter aircraft, the Vayushakti exercise will see live performances.

This will include from fast-mover fighter jets like Rafale, Sukhoi-30 MKI, MiG-29 UPG, Jaguar, LCA Tejas etc. to helicopters like Mi-17.

During the day and night exercise, all fighter aircraft and helicopters will make a lively display of bombing and destroying imaginary targets.
