How is Alia Bhatt's relationship with her saas? The actress reveals herself!

Mumbai (Maharashtra): No one ever thought that the Bhatts and Kapoors of Bollywood would ever become one as a family but Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt made the unimaginable true. Their marriage not only came as a joyous surprise for their loved ones but also to their fans who cheered them on and could not wait to see their future together. With such big names coming together as a family, the curiosity over how their personal relationships would develop started rising as well. Especially the bond between Alia and her saas, veteran actor Neetu Kapoor.

But during a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actress shattered the expectations of all those who were waiting for some gossip and heaped praises on Neetu. Siting how the death of Rishi Kapoor brought them closer, the actor said, “It has evolved from the first time I met her. There was that time at which we all just became so much closer because I think grief or any kind of situation in a family brings you together and makes you really value each other.”

Elaborating on her relationship with her mother-in-law, Alia said, “My relationship with her will continue to deepen and evolve and even now I see it. She’s so much like Ranbir in a sense. She is so supportive, she’s so positive and at the same time, she really lets you be. Even through my years of knowing her, of like even staying in touch… it’s just very easy and she is very chill.” She recalled how her friends were all shocked and impressed with Neetu Kapoor as they exclaimed, “Oh My God, your mother-in-law is just outstanding, she’s so cool. She’s too much fun. She’s really really cool.”

Alia Bhatt recently premiered her first production, Darlings on Netflix which stars her alongside Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Matthew. The film opened to critical acclaim and was a hit among audiences. She is gearing up for the 2023 release of Karan Johar’s directorial Rocky Aur Rani ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh, Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi. Alia also will start the shoot of her next project Jee Le Zaraa helmed by Farhan Akhtar which also stars Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra Jonas.
