‘HISTORIC’ PROJECT CHEETAH!

Sheopur: 70 years after its extinction from India, the cheetahs are back on Indian soil. Eight big cats were released into the Indian wildlife in MP’s Kuno-Palpur National Park (KPNP) on Saturday by PM Modi on his 72nd birthday, who termed it “historic day”. PM Narendra Modi said that ‘Project Cheetah’, under which BJP govt at Centre reintroduced big catsis the govt’s endeavour towards environment and wildlife conservation. PM Modi, in an address to the nation following the release of cheetahs, said, “We lose certain things when we move away from our roots. Hence, we should take pride in our heritage.”
