Mumbai (Maharashtra): Kartik Aaryan shocked and delighted all his fans when he declared his venture with Aashiqui makers. The actor had announced Aashiqui 3 which will be helmed by Anurag Kashyap on his social media pages. All eyes were then set on who will be the leading lady of the romantic drama. Rumours were rife that ace actor, Deepika Padukone is being considered to star opposite Kartik, exciting fans with a prospect of a fresh pair. But nothing was confirmed by either side. Now, a recent appearance made by both actors together has ignited these rumours once again.

Kartik and Deepika attended a prestigious awards night recently, looking their best-self. While the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor looked dapper in a suit paired with a turtle neck, Deepika channelled the fashionista in her and donned a tulle skirt paired with a white shirt. As Kartik was busy posing for the cameras on the red carpet, the Pathaan actor entered the venue and motioned Kartik to continue his shoot. As he obliged Deepika to join him, she stood beside him as they both posed for the paparazzi while smiling and laughing together. Their undeniable chemistry overflowed in the pictures, making the fans curious about whether their appearance is a yes towards their collaboration for Aashiqui 3!

Currently, both actors are busy with their respective projects. Deepika will next be seen in Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. She will also be seen with Hrithik Roshan in Fighter and with Prabhas in Project K, her Telugu debut.

Meanwhile, Kartik who has been on his success spree will star next in Freddy with Alaya F. He will also be seen with his Luka Chuppi co-star, Kriti Sanon in Shehzada and SatyaPrem ki Katha with Kiara Advani. Kartik has also become the forebearer of remakes and franchises with Pyaar Ka Punchnama 3, Aashiqui 3 and Hera Pheri 3 in his pocket.
