GOVERNMENT COMMITTED TO PROMOTE TOURISM IN STATE: CM GEHLOT

Jaipur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that the State Government is working with commitment to promote tourism.

“Efforts are being made to further strengthen the tourism industry in the State so that more and more tourists come to Rajasthan and maximum employment opportunities are created,” he said on Monday while talking to the media at Khasa Kothi.

Gehlot stressed that tourism is a very important sector for the state. “The economy of many countries in the world depends on the activities related to it, but this sector faced a lot of problems due to Covid pandemic.

It is the priority of the Government that the tourism industry comes back on track,” Gehlot said and wished the newly appointed Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) Chairman Dharmendra Rathore on assuming his charge.

Notably, Rathore set an example of coordination and team spirit even before assuming the charge.

He first went to meet Tourism Minister Vishvendra Singh and Minister of State Murarilal Meena in their rooms, after which he took charge.

Recently, in the political appointments, senior Congress leader Dharmendra Rathore was given the responsibility of the chairman of the tourism corporation.

On Monday, Rathore took over as the Chairman of the Tourism Corporation with due worship and prayers.

During this, Minister Vishvendra Singh said that now team in tourism is almost complete & devp of tourism sector with better coordination will be our priority. The State Council of Ministers and officers were also present.
