Gehlot appointed senior poll observer for Amethi

Jaipur: Congress has assigned former CM Ashok Gehlot as senior observer for Amethi, one of the nation’s most prominent LS seats. KC Sharma is Congress’ nominee for the seat, traditionally significant for both the party & the Gandhis. Gehlot’s appointment underscores the role’s significance. In response to vandalism at Cong office in Amethi, Gehlot condemned the act, attributing it to BJP’s apprehension.
