Forest officials clear encroachment in Amber’s Nahargarh sanctuary

Jaipur: Deputy Forest Conservator Jagdish Gupta has issued a clarification regarding removal of encroachment in the middle of Sagar in Amber under Nahargarh sanctuary area on a complaint. He said that Nahargarh Ranger Rajendra Singh Jakhar was directed on 24th August to remove the encroachment following which a team was formed.

“The team found four iron gates installed by the encroacher which had blocked the way at the Chhatri in the middle of Sagar. There was also information about installing two aluminium gates and they were removed from the spot and the area was made encroachment free,” he said. He said that an FIR was against the encroacher. Apart from this, encroachment was done by putting up a tin shed which was removed and an FIR was registered.
