Performance Based Appraisal System Implementing Session

Jaipur: The Faculty Development Training and Exchange Programme Cell of St. Xavier’s College Jaipur organized an online session on Performance Based Appraisal System: Aligning Faculty Efforts with institutional Goals. The session was chaired by Fr. Dr. Joseph Varghese, Director Research, Christ University. Bengaluru. The program commenced with the introduction and formal welcome address of the resource person by Rev. Fr. Dr. S Xavier SJ, Principal St. Xavier’s College, Jaipur and also encouraged the faculty members to be equipped with methods of implementation of appraisal system.
Fr. Dr. Varghese conducted an insightful session, emphasizing the importance of aligning faculty efforts with the broader goals of the institution. He discussed the significance of the Performance-Based Appraisal System in fostering academic excellence, research growth, and overall institutional development. The session covered practical strategies for implementing PBAS effectively, ensuring that individual contributions of  faculty members are in harmony with the mission and vision of the college.
The FDP aimed at empowering faculty members to enhance their performance through strategic alignment with institutional objectives, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
