Dr Somya conducts surprise cleanliness check @JMC HQs

Jaipur: JMC Greater Mayor Dr Somya, during a surprise inspection to check cleanliness at JMC Headquarters on Monday, also visited Commissioner Yagyamitra Singh Deo’s chamber. She was suspended because of a scuffle with him.

However, when she reached his chamber, he wasn’t there. Dr Somya went to the chambers of different officers in Corporation’s HQs and inspected cleanliness system. “We are starting work on making Jaipur city number one in cleanliness.

We have started the process from HQs. When the house is clean, then only the city will be clean,” she said.

Dr Somya visited Indore recently to monitor city’s cleanliness system. Indore is No. 1 in cleanliness in country in last 4 years. She plans to replicate same model in Jaipur.
