Congress leaders given task to prepare for LS Polls

New Delhi: A review meeting was held at Delhi Congress headquarters regarding Congress’s defeat in the assembly elections. After this, the leaders of Rajasthan were given the task to prepare for the Lok Sabha elections. On Saturday, Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge talked in detail about the reasons for the defeat. The conflict with the seats lost by a small margin was also discussed. After the meeting, Congress state in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said, “From today we will start preparing for the Lok Sabha elections.” Randhawa denied the resignations of the state incharge and the state president and argued that the performance of Congress in Rajasthan has been better. Apart from Rahul Gandhi and Kharge, Ashok Gehlot, Govind Singh Dotasra, Sachin Pilot, CP Joshi, Bhanwar Jitendra Singh and Govind Meghwal were present in the meeting.
