CM EKNATH SHINDE TARGETS SENA UBT CHIEF UDDHAV THACKERAY

Nagpur: At the inauguration of the Samriddhi Expressway in Nagpur on Sunday, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde targeted former CM Uddhav Thackeray over completion of the project. Both the ruling and opposition parties have been competing to take credit for the project. Addressing the gathering, Shinde said, “The then CM Devendra Fadnavis and I started work on the Samruddhi Mahamarg when I was the Urban Development minister. He reposed faith in me and so we took a pledge to complete construction work of the expressway. Now, when I am the CM, the Mahamarg was inaugurated by the prime minister.” Taking a jibe at Uddhav Thackeray, Shinde said, “Devendra Fadnavis and I worked efficiently with everyone, but you know what happened with us.”
