Alia Bhatt was quite excited about the release of this movie and revealed in an interview that she immediately wanted to be the producer of the film after she heard the story. Hence, she got on board with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and produced her first film. Sharing the challenges she faces as a producer, Alia revealed to a news publication, “One of the biggest challenges in making a film is touching the audiences' hearts. You are trying to convey a story; you desire human connection. The constant thought was whether people will like it.”
