Birla hails contribution of Sindhi community in freedom struggle

Kota: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Sunday hailed the contribution of Sindhi community in the freedom struggle.

He said that Hemu Kalani made supreme sacrifice for the nation at a young age and is an inspiration for the entire community.

Speaking at a felicitation programme, Birla said that the community has made sacrifices and despite all challenges, the people with their efforts brought Sindhi society to the frontline.

During his Kota visit, Birla also reached Ram temple located in the station area. He said that lord Ram is the centre of spiritual consciousness and faith.

In Ayodhya also, he said, the construction of a magnificent Ram temple according to the sentiments of the people is going on in full swing.

He also praised Brahmin community saying that people of community are always in forefront of social service.

He said that unique example of unity is seen in India even after diversities & country has emerged as socio-economic power of world.
