Bhopal-bound flight evacuated after engine failure on runway

Jaipur: A Bhopal-bound plane experienced an engine failure on the runway. The airline staff evacuated more than 50 passengers safely from the 70-seater aircraft.

The passengers waited at Jaipur Airport for four hours before being transferred to Bhopal on another plane around 1 PM. Frustrated passengers expressed their anger towards the airline. Dr. Sachin Chittawar, a Bhopal resident, described how passengers were alarmed when one engine failed shortly after takeoff.

The pilot informed the passengers about the engine failure after which the crew members promptly evacuated the passengers.
