New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday said that he ‘fulfilled his commitment’ while addressing the women BJP workers at party headquarter in Delhi on Friday, a day after Parliament passed the women’s reservation bill.

“The Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam is not an ordinary law. This is a proclamation of the New India’s democratic commitment. This is an evidence of the Modi’s guarantee of women-led development,” PM Modi said on Friday while addressing the women BJP workers in Delhi.

“Today, I want to congratulate every mother, sister, and daughter of India. On the 20th and 21st September, we all witnessed history being made. We are fortunate that the citizens of India gave us the opportunity to create history. This decision will be celebrated by the generations to come. The Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam was passed with a great majority in the parliament,” said PM Narendra Modi.
