Another targeted killing, Kashmiri Pandit shot dead by terrorists in J&K’s Shopian

Srinagar: In another terror attack on a minority in Jammu and Kashmir, a Kashmiri Pandit was shot dead by terrorists in Shopian on Saturday. The Kashmiri Pandit received bullet injuries initially in the terror attack in South Kashmir's Shopian district. The victim was rushed to the district hospital in Shopian.

The victim has been identified as Puran Krishan Bhat. He was targeted outside his residence on Saturday morning. Kashmir Zone Police, in its statement, said that the area is cordoned off and search is in progress.

“Terrorists fired upon a civilian (minority) Shri Puran Krishan Bhat while he was on way to orchard in Chowdari Gund of Shopian. He was immediately shifted to hospital for treatment where he succumbed. Area cordoned off. Search in progress,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted.
