Ajmer Dairy to launch drive for milk collection

Ajmer: Ajmer Saras Dairy president Ramchandra Chaudhary during a press conference organised here on Friday said that the dairy has set a target of collecting 5 lakh litres of milk per day in February-March and to achieve this goal, an awareness campaign will be launched in the villages.

Besides, cattle owners are being told of the benefits they would get if they provide milk to Saras and not to other dairies, which would benefit cattle owners of Gujarat.

Chaudhary said that the payment of Rs 2 per litre of Mukhyamantri Milk Utpadan Sambal Yojana has also been made by the dairy to the cattle owners.
