AICC constitutes 6 different committees

Jaipur: Congress’ preparations are in full swing for the Udaipur Chintan Shivir to be held on May 13, 14 and 15 during which Congress will lay out its future agenda regarding the country and also devise a strategy on how to best inform the people on the failures of Modi govt.

AICC has constituted 6 different committees for Chintan Shivir. For first two days of ‘Nav Sankalp Shivir’, these different committees, which include top leaders of the Congress that are experts in respective subjects, will contemplate on these subjects. Notably, South India’s top Congress leader Kharge has been made the convener of political committee. In this committee, the head of the G 23 camp, Ghulam Nabi Azad is also included. This committee will prepare a draft and give suggestions on the current political situation of the country. The committee will prepare a report on how to bring govt in upcoming polls in states and what has to be done to win the LS polls. But the most important work of the political committee will be to ascertain as to in which states should the party try for a coalition and where should it contest alone. The economy committee is headed by skilled economist and former finance and commerce minister P Chidambaram, which will prepare a report on various issues including inflation situation, country’s economy and GDP. Sachin Pilot is also included in this committee.

No party can exist without the organization and team Mukul Wasnik will prepare a blueprint on how to strengthen it. This team includes state Congress in-charge Ajay Maken. The committee can propose to make Rahul Gandhi the national president of Congress again.

It is expected that the ‘nectar’ emanating from the contemplation of the committees will act as a road map for the strength of the Congress party.
