First India Telly: Acting is about being consciously real about your emotions says Pratik Sehajpal on his song ‘Tu Laut Aa’

Pratik Sehajpal has garnered a strong and loyal fan following ever since his stint on Big Boss OTT. The actor has released some of the most hit songs on television currently after coming out of the Big Boss house and continues to keep doing so. His recent song, ‘Tu Laut Aa’ is nothing different with fans showering their love for the song and Pratik on the internet. In a candid interview with Ashish Tiwari from First India Telly, Pratik shared his thoughts on his latest song and his dedication to the work he does.

When asked about the popularity his song has gained in a short while, Pratik thanked composer and lyricist Sanjeev Chaturvedi and producer Jagjeet Singh for the work they did and dedicated the success of the music video to them. “Inke bina toh gaana banta hi nahi (the song wouldn’t be made without them)”, the Bebaakee actor shared. The actor was further complimented by them as they praised his acting and stated that they wouldn’t have made the music video until Pratik had agreed to star in it.

The actor further explained why all his recent songs are based on emotionally heartbreaking themes. He said, “The stories are actually different for every song. One is based on longing while a song like ‘Tu Laut Aa’ is about heartbreak and separation. Because of these complex emotions, I get to challenge myself and my skills as an actor. I hope I am able to justify it.”

Talking about the immense love and support he is receiving from his fans; Pratik expressed his gratitude towards them and said that he wouldn’t be where he is right now without his fans’ support.

‘Tu Laut Aa’ was released on April 12, starring Pratik Sehajpal and Kashika Kapoor. The song is sung by Yasser Desai & Prakriti Kakar.
