Rs 15k bribery scandal: Jaipur ACB nabs VDO in Dausa

Dausa: The Jaipur ACB squad took substantial action in Dausa district, catching the VDO red-handed with a bribe of Rs 15,000 on Wednesday. The case involves Brahmin Bairada Gram Panchayat in the Sikandra Panchayat Samiti area, where the VDO solicited a bribe from the complainant in exchange for payment of construction expenses.

According to Jaipur ACB ASP Sandeep Saraswat, the complainant was responsible for the construction of rooms and drainage in the Gram Panchayat govt school. In lieu of payment of his bills, VDO Nitesh Sharma was asking for a bribe of Rs 32,500.
