Robbery & extortion threats shake Jaipur

Jaipur: Miscreants in Jaipur targeted the Kesari Bhawan building, which is located in front of Deer Park in the C- Scheme. Two women working in the office were shown a pistol and robbed Rs 15 lakh. The CCTV cameras installed on the scene were checked. According to the information, two miscreants arrived on a bike at 5.30 p.m. Both miscreants displayed the pistol to two women present in the office. The miscreants threatened both women, stating that if they made any disturbance, they would be shot. The miscreants completed the entire incident in 15 minutes. At the same moment, a city blockade was implemented.Police is on the lookout for the absconding accused.

Gangster Rohit Godara has demanded extortion from a businessman in Jaipur. He threatened to kill him over a WhatsApp call and demanded 37 lakh rupees. Additionally, a murderer incarcerated in Ajmer Jail also threatened the businessman over the phone. The victimized businessman filed an FIR at Vaishali Nagar police station on the night of April 14. Subsequently, the police arrested one suspect in the case and sent him to jail on Monday. SHO Ravindra Singh Naruka of Vaishali Nagar is investigating the matter.

The police revealed that a resident of Jhotwara, a 35-year-old businessman, filed the report. His company’s office is located in Vaishali Nagar. On February 29, around 10:45 in the morning, he received a call from an international number.

The caller identified himself as Rohit Godara and claimed that the businessman owed money to one Dalip Singh. Since Dalip is associated with them, the caller demanded 37 lakh rupees within three days for the businessman to stay alive. He threatened to harm the businessman if he failed to comply, mentioning that he would visit the office in Vaishali Nagar otherwise.
