RESIDENT DOCTORS PROTEST WEARING BLACK BANDS OVER PG BOND POLICY
Jaipur: Residents are again on the path of agitation for various demands, including discrepancies in the bond policy for PG degree in the state. On the call of Jaipur Association of Resident Doctors (JARD), the residents of SMS Medical College demonstrated symbolically tying a black band on Sunday. Residents worked wearing black bands at SMS OPD and protested against the policies of administration. A large number of residents gathered outside Dhanvantri OPD. JARD President Dr Neeraj Damor said that the inconsistency of the bond policy made for the residents in state, the appointment of the residents on the posts against qualification, the implementation of earlier agreement with residents are some of the issues of protest. Dr Neeraj Damor said that if the demands of the residents are not heard, then their agitation will be on a larger scale in state.
