Nationwide bandh on August 21 against SC's ruling on reservations

Jaipur: Schools and coaching centers in Jaipur, Dausa, Sawai Madhopur, Deeg, and Bharatpur will remain closed. Kota University has postponed its examinations. Additionally, Bharatpur will experience an internet shutdown from 9 AM to 6 PM, according to sources.

In Todabheem, Gangapur City, around 10-12 government school teachers have reportedly submitted a joint application requesting leave on August 21.

The Congress party has voiced its support for the bandh, criticizing the BJP and accusing it of attempting to weaken the Constitution and reservation system.

A rally in support of the bandh will start from Ramniwas Bagh, passing through various parts of the city.
