Man tries crossing border, courtesy ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’

Jaisalmer: Inspired by Slaman Khan starrer ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, a youth from Hyderabad tried to cross border when he was caught on the India-Pakistan international border. People handed him over to the police when they felt something suspicious about him.

Syed Majid, 29, allegedly wanted to go for Haj. He had documents, including passport, Aadhaar card but did not have visa. He has been arrested under section 151 and was presented in the SDM court, where the court ordered to send him home.

Now, police are preparing to send Majid back to Hyderabad. He left from Hyderabad on April 16, came to Jaipur by train and from there reached to Jaisalmer. He tried to cross the border on foot from Jaisalmer.
